    Not sure what exactly you mean by "stupid process" but I have to say I was pretty p*ssed off about how they got released. I only found out about .ME domains by chance - and nobody told me about the "landrush" period, so I missed out on the opportunity to bid on numerous domains that I wanted. I personally think every registrar should have e-mailed all of its customers to tell them about .ME domains being released - including what date they were going to be available and how to pre-register domains in the landrush period etc.

    It's not like they don't know how to e-mail their customers - I get about 17 e-mails a day reminding me that some of my domains are due for renewal in about 6 months!!

    Granted Godaddy's site is a mess but they had info on their site for months prior to the release. I actually set a reminder and took the day off of work to get the domains I wanted.

    On a side note, do you actually read all of the e-mails from Godaddy? I delete them so I have no clue if they ever informed me.

    I'm developing a website in that domain and I have contents for the next 3 months... (and I'm Portuguese, so it's easy to get more contents fast! Spain it's near!) It's time enough to get a some pagerank and get a good position in google for some keywords...
    It's one word domain... with great overture... and some millions results on google...

    I'm expecting values in Mid/ high $X.XXX my friend And I don't care to wait 2, 3 or 10 years
