Sounds strange, I hope it's different to the issue you sometimes find with .co.uk domains - when you type some .co.uk URLs in without the www it doesn't load at all, and that domain extension has been in use for years
You look like the young figo When I checked the free domains just a few minutes ago i found some pretty good ones: employee4.me clothing4.me shareware4.me rintonez4.me traffic4.me By the way how much did you have to pay for one .me domain for a year?
eheheh... maybe i have to egister something like ... figolookslike.me traffic4.me seems to be a very good one but you have to register for a minimum of 2 years... almost 40 dollars best regards
No it's only for 1 year and it's 39€ not dollar where I registered them. But I've just sent a mail to the support asking why it is like that. I'll tell you as soon as i get an answer.
2 year registration isnt set by the registrars, it's a requirement set by the registry, like for .co.uk
I know. I did not intend to choose "clever" names. I am in it for the TRAFFIC becasue what counts at the end of the day is TRAFFIC. For example I grabbed petsforsale.me.....and to understand why..... 1. Go Here: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal 2. Configure your search for "English" and "All Countries and Territories". 3. Then do a search say for "pets" 4. Click on the "Approx Avg Search Volume" header so that you sort the list from Highest to Lowest. 5. You will see that "pets for sale" is 7th on the list and you will also see that the search volume for June was 5 million searches and the average volume per month is 9.1 million. So.....as google gives additional weight to domains which contain keyword matches, having a domain like petsforsale.me + knowing how to optimise a site, this could give me some nice traffic and earnings further down the line. Oh yes, if you don't believe me about the additional weight google gives out then check out the page below where I registered a domain and within 3 days it was on google in number 1 position. http://www.123marbella.net/from-domain-registration-to-google-number-1-in-3-days.html
You have been raped. Enom charges $19.90 for 1 year with the minimum reg period being 2 years. I dont think you can register .me for only 1 year, 2 years is the minimum. Let me know if you would like a sub account at enom and you can enjoy the prices that I have being a premium reseller.
I know what you mean, but you could just have registered the same names with ".info", ".us" or wathever else then. I think ".me" are interesting because of the sentence you can make with them. But if you plan to develop those names and not to sell them, I guess your list is good!
Good point but the problem was that many of the TLD's for these high ranking keyworded domains are already taken. I did think about registering SoSue.ME though. I wonder what the next TLD will be.
Yeah, especially seeing as you have multiple ID's from the same IP on this forum but I guess that it's alright for Agent_Dweeb and his wife to have two accounts, eh ?? Nobody's trying to dissuade from DP or this thread, however, that being said, why would anybody go to vbulletinSetup when vBulletin already has a forum??? btw, anybody know why mauroblogs got banned ?? Seemed like a good member ??? hmmm....
Somewhere there is a thread about BST bans for bumping. I'm not sure what Mauroblogs did other than keeping this thread going. Hopefully it is only a one week ban.
Yeah, I'm steering clear of the BST folders because it's pretty much a trap but whatever, the BST folders are irritating anyway and are full of people who have no respect for this forum. Wow, has anybody checked out how much buzz there is about the .me domains?? Seems like it's catching fire much harder than any other TLD (.cc, .ws, .info, .mobi, .biz) I've ever seen. About the only other TLD I could see catching fire this hard would be if they finally released a .sex extension.
Yes.. I've seen a bit in the news, but depending of final buying price, I think there will be a few more stories coming out when the auctions start ending. Currently: insure.me has had 80 bids, has 2D 9H left to go before the auction ends, and the highest bid so far is sitting at $11,500 Cheers James
