.ME Domain Discussion Thread

Hey guys what happened in the us? I read a few blogs and all were telling the same, that they had so much problems...

As I read that i thought maybe there are some good domains available and I registered the following:

ladies4.me
trailer4.me
bodybuilding4.me
affiliate4.me
freeware4.me

It only took me a few minutes and i could already use them. yeah guys this is how we handle it in europe

btw I'm new here and dont know if it's right here to say but if anyone is interessted in one of the domains feel free to contact me... otherwise please remove this sentence

 

I've now been fully refunded by GoDaddy - better late than never! Still mighty p*ssed off about all the domains I lost because of them though

 

My friend.. we have to go on.

Now we can't do nothing but start to develop the domains and wait to see how the market will value (or not) our .ME domains in the future.

Just in case, i'm already thinking on how to develop www.PleaseReview.Me

Maybe a very good forum just for reviews.
Where users can ask other members "Please Review Me" ... on products, websites, designs and so on...

And, of course, with a marketplace where people can sell that products and where buyers can see the reviews before buying

You have some interesting names. They could all have potential especially if you develop websites behind the names. Right now that is probably the best avenue to take to ensure your new .ME increases in value.

 

Really i'm not a domain expert...

But in my opinion you will have to develop your domains my friend.

I think that we all must think about it.
If we had domains like... love.me, invite.me, drive.me... maybe we could expect money in our pocket without any development!

Just think supply and demand. Is the demand for .me high yet? No. Is the supply for .me domains high? Yes. ==> Low Prices. When the situation turns around is when you should start selling

When I bought these domains i thought i could sell them for a much higher price...we'll see. ladies4.me could be interessting for someone who wants to make a porn site or something like that. freeware4.me is self-explaining as well as bodybuilding4.me. trailer4.me could be a site for movie trailer or game trailer and i think affiliate4.me is a very good one ...

Here's one idea for your domain - how about a website where people can submit the URL of a website they are designing/building and invite other people to post their reviews and opinions... could be useful?

Just a thought - there's a lot of things you could do such as product reviews etc, but most of them have been done a lot so the markets are very competitive

It looks like save.me (save.me is premium and reserved name).

I used enom and managed to get all the domains I wanted...

The only one I could not get was estateagents.me so I settled for estate-agents.me.

Godaddy as I have mentioned in another thread somewhere else, is simply terrible and am amazed that professionals still use them.

craigedmonds, your list is nice but none of your names actually use the ".me" to mean something.. Most of the names that were hard to register were those using the ".me" part to form a sentence.

and by the way congrats for the design of the me domains you are selling looks awesome! the big banner at the top and a definition on the bottom..just great!

That's an obvious reason for registering a .me domain but as I mentioned with my buying geo-domains with the .me extension, I think craigedmonds has bought the domains for SEO purposes.
