Personally I think people are entitled to be pissed of with GoDaddy, they should expect the whois information to be accurate and up-to-date and if I was a few hundred or a few k out of pocket I would be pretty pissed of so I don't blame anyone for being mad at GD, but imo I think you should try and keep your cool when you contact gd, if you yell and scream at them they are much more likely do ignore you for as long as they can get away with, it's like yelling at a webhost when a server goes down, your more likely to get suspended for being rude to staff lol

Try to stay calm with them even if you want to blow your top and call them every nasty name you can think of, save the ranting for this thread or for pm lol (within reason of course)

I will say this for GoDaddy staff have ALWAYS been good and friendly and they reply pretty quickly too. They must have thousands of refunds and tickets to process, just give them some extra time considering the circumstances.

I'm not a domain expert... but i think that they have potential.

Like someone told here, we will have to wait to understand what will be the real value of .ME domains.

I prefer to lose the money i spent in my list but wait 1 year and half to see how market will become around this domains.

Maybe even more than 1 year and half

 

Any of these have excellent potential just have to find a prospective buyer and a quality name. Hopefully these all take off for everyone who purchased one or more.

What pissed me off is about godaddy.com robbed 2 .ME domain from me which i have checked they were available during the time i registered but later they rejected them. Now , they are on domain.ME auction site for auction ..Only managed to get bombard.me and reap.me

I spent some time last night searching and only found a handful of .me's that I wanted, the best was yawn.me but I passed..

 

If Bob Parsons personally flew over to the UK and brought me an ice cream cone to my doorstep, I would forgive GoDaddy. But only if the weather was nice (who wants an ice cream if it's raining?)

Seems like the rush is still on with people registering .me domains. I wasn't intending on getting any more but I ended up buying two more yesterday. Also, I started a .me discussion forum for any .me domain speculators to show off their .me treasures and get some backlinks to their new domains.

 

Good idea Bryce! Other than price, why did you pick a .com instead of a .me for the site?
