.ME Domain Discussion Thread

Well .me domains are being registered faster than you can look them up just now, if I had waited any onger before regging mine someone else would have got it.

If you find one don't dither for very long, or it will be snapped up.

i was told from a mate to buy some .me domains and bought the following,

creditchecks.me
taxis.me
pleaserecycle.me

not sure what .mes are going to be worth...

what do you guys think, good buy or bad buy

 

PleaseRecycle.me is a very good one I think.... the way the world is ATM and with the recycling trend pushing forward, that domain has great brand ability.

I hope .me well not end up being a flop, which is also why I did not buy any .me domains. For a TLD to reach high value a lot of money if required and I am sure they will be doing that for .me

I wanted to buy sellorbuy.me but someone was faster than me Now i want to buy another domain name, but i don't have enough money

 

well i bought the following:
sue.me
avail.me
purchase.me
fraud.me
patch.me

and only won patch.me on the auction afterwards

 

They could do, but I think some of the ones people are getting could be very brandable. Like the one a few posts back (pleaserecycle.me) That one made me go and look for a few more.. picked up PleaseProtect.me
And even if they don't take off straight away. (or ever)
Its probably cheaper than collecting some things.. the last thing I got into collecting cost me a small fortune over a couple of years, I collected bottles of woodford reserve, And let me tell you... based on my experience, There aint no resale value in empty bottles.. Don't mater what batch there from.

I totally agree. What's even better about this domain is that "please recycle" is a great phrase on its own - with or without the .me

P.S. Refund latest - GoDaddy have refunded a bit more of my money and have now stolen a mere $199.94 from me....

 

Which one is better LLNL.NET/ LLNL.ORG OR LLL.ME/LLLL.ME

 

I doubt anything can fail so cataclysmically as .name did the only valuable .names are ones like baby.name domain.name register.name etc

There is a lot more potential for .me than there is for .name , I think .name has failed simply because it's to much of a niche extension very hard to get anything that fits it.

I'm just wondering what kind of site I could make with banned.me
