As the saying goes, "Only In America" http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/n...objectid=19617406&siteid=66633-name_page.html I'm not a big fan of Sean Hannity, he is one of the biggest Bozos in America but even he called it right when he asked one of his guests on his "Republican love in" show Cannity and Gnomes, "Why didn't he check before eating it?" Every time I have ordered a burger in the past I always have a little looky at it, surely this chump would have noticed cheese in it?
That is crazy. The article said that he told 5 different people that he didn't want cheese. Only a nut would tell 5 different McDonald's employees that he didn't want cheese. Most people would just tell the person that they are ordering from. But if you are that freaked out about eating the cheese that you are going to tell 5 different people, how could you not look before eating it?!
Exactly! If I was adversely allergic to something I would make double sure of what I am eating, considering that the only difference between a hamburger and a cheeseburger is a couple of slices of cheese it makes sense. Saying that though if you told 5 people that worked at McDonald's that you didn't want any cheese in it you can be guaranteed that at least 3 of the dumb idiots would forget that within 2 seconds of you saying it!
I know people who are allergic to cheese (milk products) but I have never heard of someone who is SO allergic that they would have to be rushed to the hospital and be "near death" after just one bite of a cheeseburger! (But I suppose such an allergy could be possible, but rare.) So it makes me wonder, did he eat the whole thing before he noticed there was cheese on it??
Even after telling the McDonald's employees five times the guy still ate the burger. If you are that allergic you have to have some responsibility and should check to see if there is any cheese on your burger. I know it's McDonald's and fast food employees work fast and make mistakes but come on!
That is another very good point. My guess is that he is some kind of southern redneck that was even so stupid that he didn't even remove the obligatory gherkin in it that people usually have to do to render the burger edible.
How could you not notice the cheese I suppose the thought of $10 mil could have blinded him a little..
lmao at buffalo's post.... On topic- I hadn't eaten Mcdonald's for about a year until a couple days ago and it was too good to comprehend any complaints that go against Mcdonald's. 1. I'm pretty sure it says cheeseburger when its a cheeseburger sandwich so he should've just read the wrapper (like anyone does that nowadays though) being as vocal as he was about not being able to eat cheese. 2. I agree with the fact that its pretty obvious to differentiate a cheeseburger for a hamburger :/. I know people who are allergic to peanuts and will inspect any type of snack as if they would die from even breathing too much of the scent. So yes, if he was that serious about "no cheese" he should've taken the responsibility of looking for the cheese that covered the burger like a sheet does a bed. The things that people do for money *smh*
Another moron trying to suck money out of Mcdonald's. He won't win it. Just wasting his precious time in court, while he could go eat some more cheeseburgers.
I know your right, the idiot should of notice the cheese from the first bite and spit it out. All people want to do is blame other people for there mistakes.
£5 million for a £350 medical bill = does not compute. Sounds like a pathetic ambulance chaser to me.
I don't get the bit about the Mom and Friend also named in the lawsuit because they claim they could have been hurt taking him to hospital !?!?! Were they speeding? Why didn't they just call an ambulance !?!?!?
I think that they gave him a hamburger, and he had a packet of cheese in his pocket and put it in the burger and ate it, so he could get some money from them.
