    Hehe...likewise I have been doing the same...and, I have tested some of the theories...some successfully some not. These I will also release.

    Recently there have been some movements that really do make you wonder as to the logic of the people in control at G..for instance if you take one of my terms that I have been at #5 for years and now at #32 [after700 odd] I have been replaced this morning by....yes, wait for it....Google Directory...and, if you click on this, I am at #7.

    That said one of the issues that I investigated was footer files and how they are constructed, eg with obls in great quantities. I altered these on some sites and not on others to absolutely no avail. It did not matter how these were built.

    I also looked at the title for this site and altered it considerably from 2 words to something more akin to the description with particular care to placement of the main KWs

    In the example site other KWPs for the site have surfaced at #1-10 and it is the more recent ones that are proving to be interesting.

    I look forward to comparing our results :D

    Hello Derek,

    This page is in a PERFECT position to test for what factors the Jagger Update added to Google algorithim.

    I am fairly certain that there is one of two things effecting this page.

    Either Google has just plain lost data regarding this page or...

    I am testing the "OR" factor. The results (or lack there of) I am getting lead me to one of two possible conclusions:

    Either Google is BROKEN "or"...

    The fact that I am seeing most of the sites I monitor in some kind of "holding pattern" gives me reason to hold off before making too many changes too close together.

    I started another experiment - "experiment2" (you can see results in the private area of my forum - you need to register then pm me for permission into that area) on Dec 7th and it started to show activity then just went into this "holding pattern" as well.

    SO - we will see if Google wakes up after this weekend or after New Years...

    I just hate to screw things up right now by trying to rush things ;)

    In light of some discussions on another forum, I just checked the experiment page's results again (daily check was at 5:AM EST).

    This morining at 5:AM the page was at position #NOT FOUND (in top 1000)

    Right now - 5:pM the page is at position #153

    if fact...
