Actually we were talking about here pro life stance, weren't we?

You then made the point that there was nothing else about here that impressed you as a presidential candidate.

Oh, I don't care about the NRA. But I see no need to own an AK-47. That's killing ond personal protection on a huge scale.

I know that the 2nd amendment is not for hunting. And I know that an AK-47 is not for squirrel hunting.

An ak-47 is actually pretty weak compared to that of what the army has. If you don't allow the people what the army has there is simply no point to the 2nd. Much like a computer that does not turn on only makes a good paper weight.

Why don't we quit playing a game of "what was talked about," and just post, well, what was said.

I take issue with your characterization of her as an environmentalist; you said this wasn't enough to disqualify her from being V.P.; I said, to some, it might be enough; I also said, to some, her pro-life stand seems enough to qualify her for V.P., you...

Ah, hell - wait, I think it's been said:

New fact I just heard. Palin received more votes as mayor of Wasilla than Biden received running for President.

I thought it was an amazing facts that a mayor could receive more votes than Biden. Another amazing fact. Palin is rated as an expert shot. She is rumored to have shot game from 1500 yards away.

An amazing fact that a guy who didn't compete in most every single one of the primaries, in fact the way Iowa does their 'straw' polling someone on the lower end gets less than they would have in a direct vote.

Nothing amazing about it at all.

Yeah I guess some might find chewing gum getting stuck onto their feet as amazing.

When you look into the facts and what actually went on there is nothing 'amazing' about it.

Are you trying to break some sort of record for the most irrelevant posts possible?

    Sarah Palin.

I think it is a good thing that people feel strongly in favor or strongly against the decision. Generally, from what I have seen, the christian conservatives that as you made note of "make up the majority of the Republican party" love this pick. I think that will equate to more votes since those who support abortion rights or have liberal views likely wouldn't have voted for him anyhow. He is strengthening his base within the christian voters. I think it helps him far more than it hurts him.

No games here. No need to get pissy.

I just read that she was environmentally friendly and had a lot of support from environmentalists in Alaska. Maybe I should have worded it differently. But I thought that I had yielded that point anyway.

Then you got all upset about something I said to Homebiz. Do I need to quote that also? Chill out. How in the world could you interpret a comment about the "evil prolifers" into commentary about our environmental discussion?

Sorry for any confusion I have caused you.

You don't need to quote anything, Jazz, since it's here for all of us to see. Many people have voiced support for her based on her pro-life stand, and nothing else. "One" would be too many to me, but the fact that many single-issue voters support her for this one position - the looming problems with her candidacy notwithstanding - is, in my opinion, "far too many." Hence, the usage, "far too many."

What you continue to miss is that I don't call the stance "evil," though your sarcasm makes it clear you believe those who have a problem with her anti-abortion stance believe she is somehow morally reprehensible, or the like.

Although I do disagree with her position, my contention here is that "far too many" folks seem to support her candidacy on this issue, and this issue alone. Basically, I see her as a mannequin, and have a problem with so many aspects of McCain's choosing her, in the manner he did, especially in light of his supposed strengths" "experience" and "cool judgment under adversity."

Does this help clear it up?
