    John MCain - Songbird :cool::cool::cool::cool:

    Talkin to the songbird yesterday
Flew me to a place not far away
He's a little pilot in my mind
Singin songs of lies to pass the time
Gonna write a song so he can see
Give him all the lies he gives to me
Talk of better days that have yet to come
Never felt this hate from anyone

    Hes not anyone
    He's not anyone
    He's not anyone

A man can never dream these kind of things
Especially when he came and lied for flings
Whisper in my ear the things I'd like
Then he ran away into the night
Gonna write a song so he can see
Give him all the hate he gives to me
Talk of better days that have yet to come
Never felt this hate from anyone

    He's not anyone
    He's not anyone
    He's not anyone

Even with everything you said Obama has a 15% lead in the latest polls in California over McCain. Once Obama becomes the Dem. nominee he is sure to get a boost. A lot of people don't know Obama yet, the more people know him, the more people tend to like him.

I don't think that same is true of McCain. Many people have this notion that McCain is an "independent" or a "maverick" but it's just not the case. The more people learn about the real John McCain, the less people will like him.

Think about it, Obama has already endured months of negative attacks, McCain hasn't deal with anything yet and they're still running neck and neck nationally.

All of the indicators (voter turnout, fund raising) are heavily in the Democrats favor. All the Dems have to do is remind people that McCain is a W Republican and they should be fine. The president has approval ratings under 30%, you don't think that's going to hurt McCain's chances?

McCain could definitely win the whole thing but probably not California.

Well said Soniq. If you look at the race objectively you have to see that the race is very much up for grabs.
