BLUFFTON, S.C. — Republican presidential candidate John McCain said Monday the war in Iraq has been mismanaged for years and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld will be remembered as one of the worst in history. ...................

"I think that Donald Rumsfeld will go down in history as one of the worst secretaries of defense in history," McCain said to applause."

I bet we are going to hear the same for Bush ones he leaves office.

It is about time Gtech to write him a letter that he, John McCain, the Arizona senator is utterly wrong about the war in Iraq.

I doubt you'll get many replies to this thread mate as we all knew that already. :)

GTech probably pops into McCains office daily to give him an update on how many posts he made overnight on DP P&R forum. Then McCain relays the good news onto GTechs super hero Dubya. :D

What does McCain know about the war, he is just a Vietnam veteran that is now a U.S. senator. On the other hand Gtech is former corporal with distinguished record of giving out pamphlets to teenagers in the high school. :D

all Sen. McCain did was get shot down. he got rolled by Bush in 2000. he is in the pocket of Vegas. if he didnt have the sack to stand up then---why should he be pres?

I dont like Bush---but at least he stands up. Can McCain say that?

I'm surprised I was not in that mix....to me, I think McCain is trying to undo his previous record...hes just as much a dem as he is a republican...he was also giving that speech to the "rich white folk" down at Hilton Head here in SC...most of them are from New York, but spend their winters in HH...its an interesting place to visit.

McCain could possibly be a president most people will like. He could do a hell of a lot better. People -like myself- reflexively conservative- but anti Bush--- really want to be on that side again. Rudy is not the answer. Hilary is far from what i want. I dont know---its too early to make real predictions.

Gtech---you are about the only person worthy of slamming in the political forum...so take that as a compliment, sir. cheers
