Who cares? I couldn't send a text message if I wanted too but you little kids grew up on it. McCain is old school, he's used to using a typewriter or pen and paper. Do you know what a typewriter is? :p

Hmm, outside of the mad flurry of heated posts on DP, I compose on a pad of paper myself, and, as atavistic as this seems - hold your hats, all - I don't own a cellphone.

To be honest, I like that about him.:D

it shows his lack of ability to use and adjust to the new technology.
if he never tried it it shows the danger of picking such an old person that he is not even going to try email
and if he tried it and did not learn it is even worse

Just this morning I was thinking... you know, we dont have enough threads in this forum about McCain/Palin/Obama... I hope someone starts another. Of course my personal preference was that it be started by someone that isnt even able to vote in the election. Dangit I tune in and here's the thread.

    You're my new hero ST12. :)

Seriously... do we really need for a new thread for every new insult about our election? Kinda boils down to thread flooding the forum.

And you know the anti-American that starts the threads against America such as the Vietnam thread, loves when a dumb American agrees with the BS they are spewing or when we bicker over the crap they post.

    They get there jollies.

i do not like to get into St thread but
every little bit that will educate people is a good thing. It might even convince them to not get themselves into fire trying to getting out of the frying pan.

It shows one thing for sure about McCain.
"Lack of ability to learn." He actually never had it to begin with. He finished 894 out of 899 students while at the Naval Academy. ..........
You won't see many cons replying to this as to many other threads telling inconvinient truths about McCain. ;)

Anyway, there are way too many dumb people in this country voting based on color, sex gender, or party affiliation.
Extreme selfishness is pulling down America and they are blind to see it.

About my ability to vote. I can vote if I want to, but I won't. I don't see anyone from those who are running, that truly deserves my vote.
Obama though is the better choice than McCain for America.

No offence, But i think more should be expected of whoever holds the most important office on the planet than should be expected of you.

would it kill him to learn? wait.... yeh it probably would.

i would not even hire a receptionist that does not know how to send an email
but since they are teaching the VP nominee how to talk and present herself then it is not a big deal for the pugs.
hell bush does not know how to talk. how bad could it be.

Touche. I don't have a cellphone either. It is a conscious decision. I don't want a thing that i don't really need. The "normal" telephone works well enough for me.

Who cares if McCain doesn't know how to use email. Technology and pretty much everything else [Even common sense apparently] is purely optional. Do we respect and admire Edison, Newton, Plato and so on because they knew how to use Email? I think not.

we respect them because they broke the limits of knowledge and science.
it is kind of stupid to want the leaders of our country to be as tech naive as the worst of us.
to think that every one half drunk with moonshine in a barn have to understand the president is absurd. We tried one, bush was a disaster.
