McCain Doesn't Even Remember How Many Homes He Owns

How in the hell was there no topic put up about this?! This is absolutely insane. How can anyone even think about voting for this senile out of touch elitist?

Do you know anyone who couldn't tell you how many homes they own? I certainly don't. It's truly hard to imagine how anyone could be more out of touch than John McCain. He also couldn't even answer when asked what kind of car he drives.

Obama & Biden have one house each, so it's easy for them to remember how many homes they have. I guess if you are a filthy rich like McCain (through his second wife of course - whom he cheated with while with his first wife) then it's easy to forget how many homes you own.

Sounds like a nice problem to have.
Oh but when clinton cheats its okay?
What about Obama cheating? Is that Okay.
What about the millions Obama waste each month? Is that Okay?
Sounds like a double standard. Obama sounds like the same old wasteful spender. Send him a check for hope and change. With Obama's Spending the country will be a third world country in four years.

There's 59835290348534853420958 more things out there that can be easily used to kill John McCain's presidential bid. Who cares if he forgot the number of homes he owns, or what he ate for breakfast. The guy is an idiot, has stated that he knows less about economics than he should and always advocates the use of force to solve generally peaceful geopolitical events.

When you come here to post a thread about something like this, you're encouraging shitty politics. Back and forth bickering rather than real solutions to real problems.

LinkSales - I agree that it (who one votes for) should be based on policies and not this sort of "back & forth" but the thing is - this sort of thing is all the Republicans run on. If Obama didn't know how many houses he owns - it would be a HUGE deal. HUGE. It's hard to even imagine how many times he would be called an "elitist" because of something that ridiculous. It's just amazing to me that people try to twist what Obama says out of context to make him into an elitist but when McCain says something that is indefensible like this people try to talk around it by saying crazy things like "but McCain is a POW!?!" or "But McCain's father in law lived the American dream by getting rich" --- yeah uh... So McCain's father in law got rich - what does that have to do with McCain? Oh yeah, McCain is a "kept man" just like the GOP accused John Kerry of being in 2004.

His wife is rich... Obama is rich. As far as I know we've never had a blue collar President and both of our candidates of choice are far from that. So it is really it isn't really an issue I am concerned with at all. How many homes he owns has no weight when it comes to how well he could lead the country. I'm not even an avid supporter of McCain, but people get sucked into the "headlines" too much to really stay focused on the important issues.

Just because "the other party" is fighting with ridiculous pieces of news or information does not mean your candidate or the grassroots campaign behind it should.

Intelligent people aren't going to vote based on these pieces of information. Trash it, thats all its good for. Trying to use it as a way to bring votes to your candidate is no better than what the other party is doing. Be smart, and let the voters decide on policy than National Enquirer type material.

Obviously Obama has the better ideas than McCain on policy, but I think thats due to the fact that Obama has ideas and McCain is just planning on being president. Win on policy, not on Hollywood gossip.

McCain has his housing problems and so does Obama. Obama lives in a 1.9 million dollar mansion that he bought from another of his convicted felon buddies, but then funny thing is that the taxpayers ended up paying 14 million(value of deals given to his felon buddy-Resco) so Obama can live in that mansion??! Obama is just another uppity elitist want a be who has to lie and cheat his way to the top. Obama will short change all of us, just like he did to his own brother!

    Think about this!
    1. Hillary Clinton says he isn't qualified to be president!
    2. Joe Biden says he isn't qualified to be president and couldn't even remember is name at his nomination acceptance speech. Obama himself introduced Biden as the next president of the USA and he isn't 100 years old!
    3. Bill Clinton says he isn't qualified to be president!

If he is the great savior of the USA why is he dead even in the polls with a bad economy, a war, and a candidate who voted for George Washington? Even that loser Kerry was 12% ahead at this time in his campaign and he owned 12 homes all over the world! Where are all these rich woman hiding out, I want a lot of homes too??:D

Does it really matter where the two candidates live? McCain married into money and Obama panhandled for contributions to amass wealth.

I think its fair to say, you look any leader of any country in the world, they didnt get into that position being poor, they either come from a wealthy bloodline, married into it, accumulated it through very good business sense, or shot/killed their way to the top.

Our own PM is laughing all the way to the bank.

The problem in the USA is that usually no candidate running for office "accumulated it through very good business sense" they have no experience at real work outside of government work.

Hmmm.... I guess in this last go around, Romney was the one with the most business experience. He started out as a "high end" big business consultant. I don't think the skills in that type of effort are dramatically different than of being a lawyer and/or a lawyer in charge of a group of attorneys working on cases. You have to perform well in the eyes of superiors to advance. He did.

Then he managed a money raising and deal making business investment firm. It did well. I worked in an environment not unlike that. The skills one uses are not those of typical businesses. But there are valuable skills nonetheless.

Bloomberg probably deeply researched running for President as an independant. He got fired from his job on Wall Street and started the business that carries his name. His net worth is reportedly in the $ billions somewhere. I guess you could say he had a "little" success. ;)
