McCain backs out from David Letterman, anyone record it?

Did anyone watch David Letterman last night Sep 24th 2008? Did anyone record it?

He slammed McCain for canceling his appearance on the Late Show as McCain said he had to take a flight, but later Letterman found out McCain lied.

It was good. His backing out of the race might be a set up for Bush's canceling of the elections, which would make it a true dictatorship.

here is a vid i found on youtube. DICTATOR BUSH! Elections to be Suspended?

    just a thought.

If Palin was quick on her feet, she would have been told to go in his place and liven up the show, but I don't think they feel she can hold her own.

Not sure how bad the interviews with her were edited, but she looked bad in them, but the way the interviews looked to me like they had heavy "theonion.com" style editing.

Palin could have been a one hit wonder at the conventions only, but again, I am guesses those interviews were edited.

Guessing they were edited to make her look bad does not make it so. It could simply be she was that bad.

I like Letterman, but I think he was being a bit vindictive.

Well you misread or added to what I was saying. The videos of her I have seen were so chopped up that it looked heavily edited. Some of it looked like they repeated shots to make it look like she kept stumbling.

So if you have a link to a legit video I would like to see it, if not don't whine to me about it.

I actually think he did a good job poking fun, being frustrated and adding jokes. In fact I think that the style of the show it is, he did a great job handling it.

What I think is funny is the OP thinking that the shot of McCain doing an interview instead of showing up to the show, was real. The OP is definitely the type of voter that Obama is looking for.

I thought you were saying you had watched them in their entirety.

Some editing can be bad I'll give you that, John Cena a WWE actor was edited bad to make him sound like he was damn near admitting to steroid use when in fact he was not.

    If I misread, I apologize ;)

Debunked, the videos I've seen were anything but chopped or edited. They stayed trained on Couric or Gibson when they asked the question, and on Palin, during the response. Literally, standard interview filming, to me.

They've been painful for me to watch, for many reasons - and not the least of which is because I do feel a measure of compassion for someone so completely like a fish out of water, from my viewing. She has no business attempting this, and I do think the Senator - a guy I've had a lot of admiration for in the past - owes his supporters, and the American public, a tremendous apology. This isn't politicking, since what I feel won't change anything. But it is sincerely what I feel.

There is a serious reason why he ranked 894 out of 899 students and it is: "Not enough brains" for a better score.
    LOL

    Thank goodness...

But did you catch that? McCain didn't lie, that was a joke. That is what the show does.

Thank you. The only thing I saw was on youtube and I haven't searched for any of the real (probably longer) videos. Editing can make anyone look bad.

The 2 that I saw were short and edited. Painful wouldn't even come close, if she was a horse she would have been shot.

Lost the other part of your post about "show me the leader and I will show you the country." Did you delete that because of putin and Russia?

It's been a weird day - my guess is the inability to see each other's face - but I hope I'm not coming off like I'm denying anything, debunked, just didn't see them. I just saw the full interviews with both Couric and Gibson. Where'd you see the heavily edited clips?

Sorry, just read your post. I just saw a couple on youtube that were probably less than 5 minutes each.
