Mayweather will win on points, but by a large margin. Did any of you see Kalzaghe vs Kessler? If so, you would of saw that Kalzaghe was by far the better boxer, and was scoring lots of points with ineffective jabs to his opponent, but effective to the points outcome. IMO, that's what Mayweather will do. However, if Hatton gets him under pressure, I can see him crumbling.
And thats why boxing isnt as good a sport as UFC. Exciting fights, stacked cards rather than just one main event, and no heavyweights cuddling each other for half an hour not doing anything.
i think mayweather will win this bout via unanimous decision, but i give hatton a punchers chance as always, if he can keep up the pressure and the referee allows for some clutching and grabbing then hatton can certainly make it a very interesting fight.
I watched this fight and was a great one. Wasn't expecting a TKO but that was great. The under cards sucked but main event was great. Floyd is taking a vacation now? I bet he'll retired from boxing and remain undefeated. lol
They were both undefeated coming into the fight, so it was always going to be interesting, but I think everyone knew mayweather would always win. Hatten had beat kostya tszyu but that was at the end of his career. In my view the ref got too involved in the fight breaking them up too much which played into the hands of mayweather, as well as the 1 point deduction which was harsh, considering mayweather turned his back on hatton and he was given no warnings. Take nothing away from hatton he is a warrior in the ring and took some beating. A lesser opponent wouldn't be able to take so much punishment. Is mayweather the next ali?
