Okay, so now we have established that I received an infraction.

    Now why did I?

The mod didn't even LOOK at the link, that was a link to a "Let me google that for you" page, not an affiliate link. I was asking about a site named bigbangtemplate, and I got a reply said, maybe you should give us the link. I told him what the website is, so I thought it might be a little humorous to use the "Let me google that for you" so he might look a little harder next time. So I got an infraction for Affiliate Links? Sigh, mods, please look before throwing infractions everywhere.

It's automatically made into a tinyurl, can't do much about that.

Why tinyurl and such url shortening links are not allowed in DP is because they are generally extensively used for affiliate links and redirection.

Mods don't have time to follow the link and check if it is an affiliate site or not.
    So...

That's the rule and we will have to follow it. :)

If it's automated, it's automated on your end. We don't turn anything into tinyurl.com URLs.

We received hundreds of reports everyday and don't have time to go through all the details. If we see any threads/posts that are directly goes against the forum rules, a warning or infraction will be given.

You have an option to preview your post before submitting it. Always read/think twice (or more) before posting any reply.
