Good idea and easy to implement, but I think it would be to complicated for the basic mod using... Should it be displayed apart of vertical ads or standalone? What about the number of thumbs displayed? Should it be last xxx or rotating...? Many questions many options, not possible to have in one mod. But I can always assist for those who purchased the mod and can prepare some custom code. In this special case it needs only two files to manipulate. Rest, including submission process and admin area remain untouched.
