May I know how to get rid of the frame of a picture ?

I'd tried to upload a picture of a product ( Jpeg image with 8.49kb ) to my web site with pink colour background. However,it look awful due to the picture's frame. The picture is in a rectangle frame with white background. When it inserted into my web site,it'd created a white rectangle surrounded the product on the pink backgorund !

May I know is there any solution to get rid of the picture's frame in order to blend the picture into the pink background without leaving a white rectangle shape on it ?

    Thank you.

P.S. The attached file for that picture for your advice.

You would have to use an image format that supports transparency (GIF or PNG, not JPG).
The reflection on the "floor" would cause even more problems, forcing you to use 24-bit PNG format which requires hacks to display properly in IE6.

To make it easier, I'd just make the background pink, matching your website background color.

Had a little play with the graphic and found there is a slight problem. When you change the background color you lose a small portion of the bottom of the book like so and the reflection does not look right:-

How ever i did do this create a fuzzy border around the graphic so it blends in more with the pink background like so.

To really resolve this problem you will need to use the layered psd for this so you can change the background color or turn it to alpha..
