    To all DP members,

I like to know how many website do you all set up in order to get that desired $XXXX or $XXXX? It doesn't matter what kind of affiliate programs you use, but I like to know a rough number of webbies so I know what kind of hosting to aim for.

Besides, is your number of websites inclusive of blogs? How often do you update all of them?

Appreciate all forms of feedback. Thanks Very Much!

You have to work hard. However, promoting web sites are a lot more fun then working at Mark's Work Warehouse:D I wouldn't say theres a certain amount of sites you need, its how much quality traffic you get from one site. A few sites is good, however you need to be able to manage them all and put a lot of time into each site. I would say, start out small and then make more sites as things get better.

Hmmm only one, I think. But to make consistent $XX,XXX pure profit per month, I need 2-3 sites. I have just created my third site one month ago but let's see...

If you have only one site then you can concentrate all your marketing, sales, etc. efforts on that one site... but if you have many then you gotta start spreading your scope and will likely have to outsource a lot of work... most webmasters making money either have 1 really good site that gets massive traffic... or hundreds of niche sites that barely cover their investment... maybe making a few dollars each per year...

It really depends on what niche you are in. Some people prefer to create authority sites which require a lot more time to update and drive traffic. But these also make more money.

As for me, I own over 50 blogs. And they make me a nice 5 figure income monthly. Someone could have done that with only 5 blogs. So it really depends on what income level you want.

I target small niches which are easier to dominate. I update some of them and leave some alone. But one thing I always do is to drive traffic to them.

It's not about the number of sites you have. It's all about traffic and conversion.
That being said it's impossible to answer your question.

Never set up more than one website.
If you have multiple products, do
    companyname.com/product1

It is far easier to market to that, and far easier to build links. Each link back will be worth more because it contributes to the whole

it all depends on your skills and strategies. If your good enough then you could simply pull off more stash from one site than anyone owning multiple sites. Depends bro, !!
