in the tos it states that you must have permission from the owner of the domain before you can show your ads on there site, so it would come down to whether or not the site that use your stuff will allow it or not.

Also, you never know where your script may end up. It could, and most likely will, be placed on sites that violate the ToS.

I know someone who did this with a script I have recently been testing. Let me suggest to you that it does not motivate me in the least to leave their information about the program intact.

I think it would be dangerous regardless. You have no control over where your ads are going so chances are you will be violating the TOS.

Now if you wanted to work out a controlled reimbursement where perhaps released the script for free and then let people sign up for your adsense block to display your ad in exchange for using the script, and you had some semblance of control and approval, that might be good.

But to just include it by default is bound to get you in trouble, and best case raise some resentment from people using the script.

I have seen some web scripts do that such as toastforums and wondered how they would stay within the tos and stop false clicks. My advice I would not include your adsense with your script. Maybe instead just have some textlinks on the bottom.

I ran across the same thing today at a site promoted by Google as something you can include in your Google homepage.

The site also says you can insert the code into any webpage to show a soduku puzzle. The owner displays a small AdSense ad with the puzzle and says that if you also want to have AdSsense ads on the page, you need Google's permission.

The site URL is http://www.counttonine.com/sudokuGame.htm and the google ad is: Google Fun and Games Section - Soduku

I would think the same concerns would apply here. Imagine, "Sexy Sadie's Soduku Puzzle Palace"
