I searched, still nothing. How many google ads can I have per page, I thought it was 3. But I saw sites with 4. So what is it?
It is 3. According to: https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...x=en:search&query=maximum+units&topic=&type=f # Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page. # A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page. # A single link unit may also be placed on each page. # Up to two referral units from each referral product or offering may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above. # AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
If you count the 3 ad units and one text link it would be 4. Not sure if you counted it that way. 3 ads units 2 search boxes and one text link and that is it. Your better off with fewer ads because it will show higher paying ads.
Your original post said "I searched, still nothing." I come to the same conclusion as CountryBoy must have about the statement...that you searched but did not find anything, and I must come to his further conclusion that you didn't look very far, otherwise you would have found it. The sites with more than 3 fall into one of two categories. They are violating the Policies, or they are Premium Publishers.
using more than 3 ads on one page is against the tos. if you dont want to loose your adsense account, i dont suggest you to make the same with people who does it
3 Ads Units + 1 link unit + 2 Search + 2 referrals Use them all together, you won't be banned from Adsense but you will be banned from your visitors
