I don't recall ever seeing a limit on transactions - usually just a limit on volume. but it depends on your country and everything else. It might be best if you email them or call them for an official answer
Chances are .. yes, but you will need to look. I tried to access the www.paypal.ca website and was directed back to www.paypal.com. I found a comparison for probably US based merchants, so they might have something for you. For example - I have a limit of $500 a month, because I won't give them my social security number. I don't use Paypal that much so I am not worried about it. If I gave them my SSN, they would increase the volume
So there is no limit on number of transactions but the net amount of funds I've recieved and sent through Paypal?
There are two kinds of transactions in Paypal, one is the Email Pay method and the other is the 'Buy Now' button type transactions. If you ask someone to pay you by providing them your paypal email address and they get to the paypal website and do a 'Send Money' method, there is no limit. Since that is in theory not considered a sale as it could be sending money to friends and so on. However, if you use the Merchant type 'Buy Now' button, Shopping Cart or Invoicing then there is a limit for the Personal account which is not more than CAD$650 per month. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...164&unique_id=1750039&source_page=_home&flow= Incidentally if the account is not verified then there may be added limitations such as a fixed spending limit.
No, it is not 5 credit card funded transaction a month, it is 4 credit card funded transactions per 12 months at 4.9% instead of the 2.9% with a Premier/Business account http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside
I dont think there is any such thing < Correct me If I am Wrong > though you cant accpet CC funded payment s on personal account . You can accept maybe somewhere like 5 or so CC funded payments on personal accounts .
There isn't a transaction limit perse, but rather, an amount limit. Personal accounts can only receive a certain cash value of payments before they cannot receive anymore for that calendar month and must wait for the next month. ~ Sirius Lin
