    Re #3: Some I blend with link color, and some I blend with another color from my website palette. You really do need to experiment a bit, but blending has done the most to increase my ctr.

    I generally use the 336 or 300 text ad block integrated with my site text content, and one link block integrated in the site navigation area, vertically or horizontally as appropriate.

    You guys need to think deeper, if you have an ad set up that looks professional in the long run your site won't look spammy and you'll gain traffic as an authority site. Sure you can have an high ctr with some adsense techniques but you will not gain trust or repeat traffic.

    Yeah, on one hand - blue title, black text and white bg/border will be the stand out and can revenue nice number, on the other hand it will looks ugly :)

    Use only one ad on a page and blend it with your website and surely you will get higher CTR.

    blending works perfect... yet sites having a black over white texture can go with blue....

    I am using 336 block and blending on the top, but no one click my ads.

    I thought users know that is ads,so they don't want to click.

    It will vary with the website. For me the best option has been to blend the ads and not to use horizontal banners. But the only way to find out what works for you is to set up channels and test, test, test.
