Hi everyone, I just want to know that is there any page size limit defined by google that can be crawled by their crawler.
Google these days would recommend "responsive deisgn". Therefore perhaps it would be better not to think "max they can crawl" but what size you should think about presenting in order to make your website rank higher by being more suitable to the things which will find your website Perhaps this will help with some of that > https://developers.google.com/webmasters/smartphone-sites/details It doesn't mention "size" of pages limits per se but it is telling you what they recommend design wise and why. This is because more and more people are using phones and smaller devices to use the internet and so you should aim to keep file sizes in line accordingly.
I don't think they would have a limit on what they can crawl, and even if they did, I think it'd be ridiculously high, at least high enough for you not to have to worry about going over that limit. I'm sure you'd be hard-stretched to find an accurate answer to this, anyway.
I too think there must be no word limit, but this raises another question in my mind. Is there a certain limit to the no. of words google bot looks at in a page to rank it higher or lower, certainly, page length affects user experience. Any views???? - Tushar Taliyan Convonix
