Hello, If you are paying for seo-services like manual submissions in directories, articles, blogs, social bookmarks,... is there a limit of backlinks per month before google throws your site in the sandbox? I for myself am working with a seo company that gives me 200 linkbacks/month.. but my biggest competitor has already 10.000 backlinks (except his domain) and I only have 250 ... so I want to increase this number the sooner the better, you see... I was just wondering how many linkbacks you guys gets per month per domain ... thnx in advance, raey
Depends on current PR of your site. If it more than 2, then you can get large no. of back links. But if it is lesser than 2, then be more careful. You may trigger spam alert of the bot
I have a PR of 3... so how many max. backlinks should I try to get in 1 month then without drawing the attention of the bots? .. just curious.
i have seen it happen in the past, best off hiring someone that will do the 200 submissions over the course of a few days/weeks. a sudden boost of new backlinks can look un-natural and that is what google does not like.
Slow and steady wins the race! I don't think anybody will be able to say how many exact backlinks you should acquire per day. But for a low PR/ low content site, quick backlinks may trigger some flag in google bot. I suggest you build links real slow (unless of course they are organic in nature!)
If the site has an unusually large spike in link growth and after that the number drops dramatically , that wouldn't do. Try and be consistent with what you are doing......
