Anyone got any tips on maximising revenue in Adsense for a proxy site? I am only making a few cents per day on each proxy site.
I dont think you can use adsense on proxy sites at all. May be on homepage, but not on pages where you display other sites. Adsense anyways dont make much money for proxy sites. You can think of other affiliate kind of programs if you have enough traffic.
Hint : First of all this message is for all people who are really in new to this world. Ok, now you have to ask questions to yourself on your niche. The topic is based on proxy sites. So first of all you should ask the question who would use your website. (Teenagers, college students, huge network used industries maybe) So you should target advertisment programs related to those users. This wouldn't be cpa ads like adsense or yahoo. These ad's would be more better with affiliates or directly targeted ads like ebay (teenage clothes etc) This way you could maximize your revenue. What Im talking about people is you have to think to controll your traffic. Not just looking where they come from but you should control the age which is important. That's why people do spam ads on social networks for proxies. Cause proxies are most related with teenagers on school networks.

Proxy, is a really low paying niche. I suggest you try other Niche. Anyway, try to optimize your ads placements. Improve your CTR; Try different ad units to see which one works the best.
Some tricks could be done with proxy sites which would give you 3-4$ per clicks.. But its gray hat very minimal risk..
just think that you have something which can stick user their on your site , ur earning will start automatically .
