I've just started running some Maxbounty campaigns on my arcade site and they are not converting very well. So far around 150 clicks and no leads yet (been about 3 days). I have the Zwinky, Free Gum, Free Ipod Nano, and the Flycell and Dada Mobile campaigns on the site.
I have found Maxbounty somewhat annoying since new members need to pass an approval process and not all sites are accepted, then when you are in, campaigns do not convert well :\
They don't convert well for me either. I tried them for a few months. They have a few good offers that fit my niche but I think those offers are way overexposed so I get few takers. Not enough fresh offers, for me anyway, so I'm not promoting them much anymore.
I signed up with MaxBounty just recently and I've been promoting just one of their offers so far (the TRUE.com dating site). I didn't send much traffic but the conversion rate is around 1/8 (and I've had a few conversions, so far). My site's theme is dating, so I guess it's pretty reasonable that dating offers will do well.
Hi all. I know many affiliates believe otherwise, but if you're having conversion problems, perhaps it's the campaigns themselves and not the network you're running it with? Running the same campaign at 2 different networks should give you pretty much the same conversion. If you have any questions about the campaigns, by all means either myself or your AMs can you help you out. If I can make a suggestion, why not contact your affiliate manager and have a discussion about your site model. She can no doubt make excellent campaign suggestions for you. There are something like 250 offers on the network now, easy to miss some of the better ones.
That's quite good. I was also promoting True but had a much lower conversion rate. True has had similar campaigns for quite a while with other network, although the payout was much lower than MaxBounty. So I felt that it has been overexposed already.
The problem that i see with maxbounty is because most of their stuff are those surveys, "free ipod" "free laptop" "free Ferrari" free etc, etc.. And people usually associate this stuff with scam. Very few people actually go through with these surveys to the point of giving their credit card numbers..
