This is a bit of a worry, Maxbounty has been down for almost 5 hours it seems - are you guys seeing this too? Looks like its their website, but also aff links as well?

    Maxbounty, what's happening guys?

Yup, same here. Now it seems to work again. It must have been more than 5h though. I'm in Europe so I guess it could have been half of last night. Strange is though that clicks got counted apparently although the affiliate links didn't work. I only got 3 sales compared to 13 the day before with almost same traffic.

    Hello everyone,

MaxBounty's reporting server crashed early this morning and was down for several hours as you have noticed. It is now back and fully operational.

The reporting server is separate from the tracking server. The tracking server was not affected by this downtime and no leads were lost.

We apologize for any inconvenience this reporting downtime may have caused you.

Well, tracking server wasn't affected maybe but I can tell you that affiliate links didn't work either. I have tested it and it lead to the same error page as your start page when you server crashed.

So any visitors reached an error page.

Yeah the aff tracking links weren't working for me either. They also gave the same "Jrun" error as the website did.

Yes sam, its all going great now... but both Michael and I saw at least 5 hours of downtime in our own independent uptime monitoring. We're not just imagining it are we? Thats simply why I originally posted - I was concerned, and wanted to confirm that others were seeing the downtime also, which it seems they were.

Maxbounty have been good to deal with so far, don't get me wrong, but downtime queries are a valid subject to bring up.

I've been with them less than a few weeks and have noticed three significant downtimes. I don't even want to imagine how many other times they've been down that I didn't notice. It's just unacceptable, it kills your traffic waiting for their ad servers to time out.

I have been with them for sometime now... but there has been a few outtages or issues with logins as of late... dunno why but i know they are working on it....

I do know the one time the actual affiliates serving server went down they offered credits based on your past performance.

Here's a crazy idea, get a few more servers and upgrade your load balancer. It might help. I know eBay had this problem a while back. Obviously, they are much bigger, but when you are pushing more traffic and bandwidth, upgrading and adding hardware it usually a good thing to look into.

I am not expecting that you must be satisfied with me always... You are really free to share your views... criticise bad services by network...... fight for your right....

But i am expecting all this in decent words...Should i fight here with you in the same language? NEVER... My traditions and culture dont allow to even think about it...
