I'm pretty sure that other people can snag this domain up still, it goes up for auction if there are multiple people wanting it.

Bad idea posting it here in my opinion!

Let hope you didnt use sedo,

    You pre reg it,

If succesful, the domain goes into a public auction.

People bid and you could loose it, if you dont bid high enough.

So you pay to pre reg and they take it and auction it, waste of $$.

    Still, pre-regging means crap...

I could do a pre-reg it right now too, for example, and it would just go into auction when they're released.

Yup, then you get your money back after some rich douchebag buys it for a ridiculous amount. Gotta love the fairness of domain name pre-reg.

that makes no sense! So basically, it's you submit a name you want, and then it's publically listed for auction? You'd be better off staying up until the first registration opens and register your domain that way!

    No...

If 2+ people want the domain, it's listed for auction between you two (Privately as far as I know, but I am not positive). If you're the sole applicant, you get it.

what about GODADDY preorder, I have a name I want that the $30 says its taken but the $299 option says the name is available.
If I preorder for $299 and no one else does the $299 option don't I automatically get the domain and the people who used the $29 option watch me take the cake?? :)

I would not give $299 for a .co domain at last not for max.co
