    If God is real then he's well overdue for a reboot.

    He must be disgusted that his message has been splintered into 3 warring religions, at the crimes done in his name - from the parish priest who preys on his congregation all the way up to genocide.

    The real question is why has he waited so long?

    My admittedly limited understanding of this issue is that people in the 100 A.D. timeframe already felt that things had gotten so bad that the Second Coming was certainly due. According to some historians, the belief that someone is living in the End Times has been consistent with a significant portion of the population throughout history. So, the odds that we are in that time are not good.

    Of course, even a broken clock is right twice a day, so my wacko sister-in-law just might be right that we are in them right now.
