Hi Friends, Here's some SEO Tips http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/080623-101341 Hope its helpful
That's great, and I'm glad you posted that but honestly, There are a million posts JUST LIKE THAT except with 20 or 30 and most people know this already.
I'm puzzled at all the put-downs of this post. Are Matt's tips new and earth-shaking? Of course not. But I guarantee you that a lot of regular DP members are doing an inadequate job on tips #1 (Spotlight your search term on the page) and #2 (Fill in your "tags." The two most important tags are Title and Description b/c that's what is displayed on the search results.). Matt was not interviewing for a scholarly SEO journal. He was being quoted by USA Today, most of whose readership are certainly ignorant of good SEO. So he did the reading public a favor by giving five good tips. Matt's quotes contain some important info that many overlook: • Put your keyword(s) at the top, and also sprinkled throughout the page. • Don't overlook the Description tag. That's what gives you, not Google, the ability to display the text you desire to be in the search engine results description. None of this is rocket science, but they are good tips — new to some and good reminders to the rest of us who have been at this for a while. And I like Matt pinning something down — "Get other sites to "link" back to you. This is one of the most important of the 100 factors Google considers when ranking sites." He mentions only 100 factors in the rankings calculations, and that inbound links are "one of the most important" of those ranking factors.
