Check this out... Three tips to protect your WordPress installation Look at the two links at the end of the post Matt Cutts, of all people, the one who is so keen on the "nofollow" tag, the self-proclaimed "search engine spam expert" is linking from a blog post WITHOUT using a nofollow. First of all, the article is totally irrelevant because his tips are so outdated it's not even funny. Anybody hosting a Wordpress blog on an Apache server already has "directory indexing" turned off. Second, if you have permalinks enabled in Wordpress, there alread is an .htaccess file to do what he's advising. How do we know he wasn't writing a Pay Per Post "sponsored review" ? oh, and forgot to mention, Cutts is also not allowing comments from people who are critical of him anymore. I guess the loss of 20% of anybody's stock options would cause temporary insanity (or maybe prompt them to take a paid posting oportunity) !!!
