Matt Cutts outs Traffic Power

Matt Cutts has outed Traffic Power on his blog. Interestingly, he makes a point of stating:
For this post, I am speaking in my official capacity as head of the webspam group at Google, and I’ve had this post reviewed by Google’s lawyers.

Aaron at Threadwatch, who was being sued by TP is still cautious. I say "cautious" because anyone who can come up with the title, "Google Gets Head - from Amazon," is obviously being a little muted when TP's lawsuit gets it in the butt and the thread title is, "Matt Cutts Confirms Traffic Power Ban" and not something like "FU TP!"

Lots of good advice from Matt Cutts about dodgy seo techniques and what not to do.

What were the seo strategies ( violated Google webmaster guidelines ) that Traffic-Power.com has done, which lead to its exclusion in Google ?

I love Traffic Power. They're so arrogant and stupid. They don't even realize that ranking on a search engine isn't a divine birthright.

Personally, I'm getting tired of frivolous lawsuits like this. They just fill up the court systems with useless crap.

I am not sure those site owners that paid up to $5000 for a SEO job and got banned from google consider this "useless crap"

    Yeah good on him.

As traffic-power were trying to say it wasnt them etc etc, now they have been told by the big G that it was them and their techniques that got their customers banned.

Not looking too good for them now.

Uh... You missed AWD's point there, BadLuck. The "useless crap" he's referring to is Traffic Power suing Aaron Wall for publicizing the Google ban, which traffic Power claimed was a lie and Matt Cutts just confirmed is the truth.

Search for traffic power on these forums to see what we have discussed about them over the last year. They are an obvious "bad-hat" (hey new term!)

Whenever I search for them on Google, I get trafficpowersucks.com and Mark Carey's Google Bans Traffic Power and its Clients article.... Quite appropiate and funny.

Im amazed theyre still getting clients - well, I gather they are..... Poor guys.. The clients, not TP :p
