Wow, amazing how many SE's have that toolbar installed :)

Howard Stern sent out an email blast today... so far it's gone from 1,995 to 1,037.. why isn't it on Movers and Shakers?

I cant see why people would actually visit that ebay marketing site, except when someone sends them a link, says "look at this". They then look at it for 2 seconds and close it.
Well thats what i did anyway :)

    Welcome to viral marketing:)

eBay has television campaigns running in conjunction with the site too. They are dumping some cash into this promotion.

They have links to that thing all over ebay as well. I'm not sure how much it does for people that already use ebay a lot.

It seems like a lot of time and effort for no apparent reason. Maybe they could lower their fees instead of spending it on huge worthless marketing campaigns.

Ummmm....marketing before the holiday season? It's marketing - there's always a reason and 99% of the time it's to make $.

The people that sell on eBay will benefit - more traffic = more opportunities to sell that they are selling.

    Movers and Shakers..?

The only Moving I've seen is the downward movement of relevant results in G's serps...

The only Shaking might be in the SE world if this final wave doesnt wash some sanity into G's relevancy...

One more wave or so they say...
Next week's ride should be interesting...
