Yes. And let's hope they're all researching how to build a better search engine.

Google should have stopped "improving" a year ago and everything would be fine ;):D

Agreed! I wonder if it's too late to undo Big Daddy? ;)

Have you heard anything else about this mess from anyone (or anything) at google? Are they at least admitting there might be a problem (and not that bad data push BS) ?

I've noticed Yahoo results show up when the algo is in flux. In the last week I've seen Yahoo and hotbot results in Google's SERPs.

"We're Irrelevant Go See Yahoo" nice headline.

Anyway this year Google, just tested things  ..., webmasters loosing money(lost), DMOZ slower then ever ( I submited a website a few weeks ago, I'll check back in 2010, maybe a car will kill me.... ).

LOL! I submitted one of my sites over 1 year ago. Never heard a peep from DMOZ. That was my last time submitting anything to them. Those folks just don't get the jist of the web. "SLOW" ain't gonna cut it on the internet. I'll be glad when they pass away. Hell I'll even send flowers.

Yep. Gone. But now comes the tricky part. That spammer is already, and has been the entire time, building a million more pages. Will they too be indexed? That's the part google can't figure out. It's great they got rid of the spammer for now, but he'll be back. And unless google finds a way to stop itself from indexing millions more spam pages then they've really accomplished nothing.
