If they (Google) want to clean up the mess they made then they need to come up with a better alog for their search engine - this would kill link buying and selling in a heart beat.

It's fascinating how those who are whining about the little blog post that started this thread and/or denying that discounting paid links wasn't already happening for months or years before that post and/or furiously attacking the principle of discounting paid links are all people who are.... ...selling links ...selling SEO services that depend on paid links ...trying to rocket their little sites into the top 10 with no clue whatsoever about any other method for doing this other than buying links

You've PROVEN nothing in this entire thread accept your inability to prove anything. Neither of the links in my sig here at Digital Point were PAID for. So unless you can PROVE otherwise, you are making even more claims that you can't back up. I've sold sig links in the past, but I've never sold (or bought) links to my personal sites. I have an inability to think and am on a quest for easy answers... too bad you are not a valid source for such things as you've consistently shown your preference to look up famous sayings over actual sources for what you are talking about.
And that negates my point how exactly? You promote the buying and selling of links. You also engage in the business of buying and selling links. Are you denying that?

I have not whined about matt Cutt's Blog, in fact, have used it as a reference. I've also never denied that links are or were being discounted/filtered/devalued/PENALIZED. So I'm not sure how I'm not keeping up... Though, I must admit that this thread IS racing in circles as I keep asking you to back up your claims and you keep going on how I'm not following along.
