I have to figure out a password, which consists of 9 digits, and the only numbers used are 0 and 1. So, it can be 001101101, 101101111, etc. Can anyone tell me how many combinations there would be in total?
The answer is 512. PM me if you'd care to learn the formula required in calculating the correct answer. My guess is you won't unless your teacher asks you to show your work or to produce the number combinations. Good luck! Alex.
I wouldn't be too worried. In order to hack that sort of password by brute force, he first has to calculate the combinations. *g* In the off chance that someone has actually set their password to a combination of numbers that happens to meet the criteria he presented, the owner of that password probably deserves to be hacked.
wouldnt that be a brute force attack? isnt that illegal ? and its not just a math question, its a whole algorithm with great complexities!!
there is 512 combinations...........i cant write them for u there.ya u opt for the easy one..........that u learn easily........
