Hi guys. I'm just about to open a shop through Etsy and because I will probably only end up selling one or two things a week until I am properly established, I decided to open a second personal bank account instead of a business bank account for all my business transactions. I've just opened a Business Paypal Account in my business name, but I've just learnt that the names on the bank account and Paypal account have to match. I really don't want to have to change my business name to my personal name on Paypal, so I logged into online banking and changed the name of my personal account to my business name. However, the change will only show up in the online banking service and not on paper documents etc. Has anyone else tried this? If so, will the bank recognise I have changed the name and accept money transfers through Paypal or will it make no difference? Cheers!
