We run a company where people signup for a membership where they agree to a monthly recurring bill. A few months ago a good portion of our members with Mastercards on files started receiving declines. I immediately conatcted our merchant vendors and was told a new bill that had passed and Mastercard took action which caused this issue as a result. I was also told it would be by the end of January but we're still having the problem.Turns out the only way to get the payment to go through is by running a Voice Authorization. We have been advised to tell our customers to contact their banks to obtain a secure code to resolve the issue. That doesn't work. The odd thing about this is that our customers say that they have no problem using their card making online payments on ebay, paypal, Macy's, etc., I am not a credit card expert so it's hard for me to make sense of any of this. Anyone know anything about this? I would appreciate any info you can provide.
