Master Resell Rights

Hi

I am a php coder and i have made alot of scrtips in the past and also sold them after a while with master resell rights. So my question is,

Do i have the right to use the script i made on any of my sites and then sell my site? is this legal or would i not be able to do this becuase i have told the script with master resell rights.

Its not his work anymore if he sold it :/. Although I think its fine if it stays with the site, not selling it seperatly.

 

You should not sell it again , while using it would do nothing but still when you sell it again then you could be in trouble.

 

Hmmm quite a few diffrent answers, basiclly i want to use a script i made but i sold the script with master resell rights, although i am not going to be selling the script on its own, i will be using the script for my website then later on i may sell my website with the script running on the site.

So if any one else has any answers please let me know.

This will be totally legal in accordance to me. If you made it, then you have full right to put it anywhere and sell it. Big sites like IPB too sell scripts still they have it on their site. Its legal.

 

But IPB sells resell rights i sold it with master resell is that still ok?

 

He sold the rights. Unless he specified that he will be selling it again, then he should not sell it.

The easiest and most honest way to use it would be to ask the purchaser.

 

Well just sent a PM off to the new owner i will see if he minds or not.
