ok so I had adwords running for a couple days and i was getting like 100 000 impressions a day with about 100 clicks or so but then i might of changed something but i dont think so and i was getting about 100 impressions a day...........so i deleted that campaign and started a new one and its not much better....my daily max rate is $15 but yesterday it only spent 72 cents on like 4 clicks......i tried raising my bids and most are in the 1-4 spot range but nothing. Its really frusterating

    any ideas?

    Add more keywords.

Is this search or content network?

they are both on but 85 percent of impressions and all my clicks right now are from search, Is it important to have the same keywords you put in adwords in the meta tags of your landing page? I have like 15 keywords right now and about 4 really general ones so I should add even more?

    Thanks for your help

Separate your campaigns for Search and Content. I can't think of a reason why one would want one campaign to run in both since you can set your bids for each independently, and should do so.

Your keywords should appear in your page URL, your page title, your page description, your H1 tags and throughout your body copy. You can also use them in image names and photo captions. I'm not sure Google pays much attention to the keyword meta tag.

Yes. it's work to create multiple landing pages, AND if you do it to conform each landing page to each of your target keywords, you'll do much better. In the long run, your cost per click can come down enough to offset the extra work, plus your conversions are very likely to increase since you're delivering a page that's tailored to exactly what the searcher was looking for.

Could high amounts of impressions decrease pay-per-click price for your add?

Do you have your campaign set to show your ads as fast as possible or spread throughout the day? Also your budget might be to low, I've seen Google throttle back campaigns till i raised my budget.

    Be well.

How long was your campaign successfully running before it dropped off?

Have your keywords been disabled due to poor performance?

well it was only running for two days with the high impressions but i wouldnt say it was successful because my CTR is at a better percentage now. Budget I dont think is the issue because then it was only 10 and now its 15 and my bids are higher, but actually my bid postion dropped even though I raised the max cpc......maybe my quality score dropped?

Yep it would be your quality score. You are able to turn on the quality score column and see what your quality score is.

When you first start a campaign, Google sets your quality score as "great" whilst it is figuring out the real quality score.
