Massive Drop in Sales - anyone else?

i usually make between $20 to $100 daily however over the last two weeks i have bairly made $20 a week. my website traffic is steady as ever with its targeted visitors and i havent changed the content on there one bit, my links are all working correctly. i have no idea what is going on. i could simplly have not made sales however this doesnt sound to realistic as there would be no reason for people to stop buying the product im promoting. is anyone else having similar problems? and what do you think could be happening?

ive emailed click bank to see if they are tracking my sales correctly, but i already know that they are going to just say yes.

thanks for any advice in advance.

Don't worry. Happens all the time. Take for example in the week of 1/27 - only made one sale at $8.90 - then, the following week I did around $111, then $154, then $1468.

This week I've only done $78 so far. There will always be fluctuations in your sales. However, what you need to look at is how much you're making each month.

If you go from $300 in one month to $0 the next, then you have a problem. But, if you're going from $300 to $250 in a month, then there is no problem. You just didnt' have enough customers.

I noticed this msg on systems log "

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Brief System Interruption
    2010-02-17

This evening ClickBank experienced a system interruption. As a result, clients were unable to access the ClickBank website, including logging in to their accounts. In addition, the ClickBank website order form and Hops were not fully functional for a small amount of our overall traffic. During this time, the system status page accurately reflected the disruption.

The issues have been identified and resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

But I hope it didn't affect sales!!!

The direct opposite is happening to me! My traffic has tremendously gone down but i am making way more than what i usually make. I think sales have been pretty consistent since the beginning of the year. At least for me. No big fluctuations noticed yet.

This is the bitter side of affiliate marketing dude. Just hold on. I think your sales will comeback. That is why it is very important for all affiliate marketers to diversify their business by promoting not just 1, 2, 3 or 4 products, but about 10 to 15. As your business grows, add as many products as you can so you will have a steady income.

All normal fluctuations, don't get too tied down and addicted to stat watching - I know from personal experience that you can get carried away and watch the stats / wait for sales on new projects you do / sites you build... a little stat watching is good, but in excess it can distract you and slow you down from building more revenue streams.

In affiliate marketing the only thing that is predictable is that it's unpredicatable.

Use this as an opportunity to add fresh content to your websites, build backlinks, investigate new niches, get new sites or PPC campaigns out there, etc.

As someone else mentioned, what matters is your earnings for the month, not the day.
