I'm new to SEO I'm looking to promote around 10 websites for adsense revenue. I heard that the best way to increase traffic is to get linked from high PR websites. In order to get linked from high PR websites, I have to submit my websites on webdirectories. Am I in the right track? I was doing this for 2 of my websites and it's taking so long to even submit to one site. What would be a good technic on submiting sites to free webdirectories. Also What would be a good title and description to put? Sorry I have so many questions Oh yea what's VRE?
Getting links on most high PR sites is not only a question of raising your PR. For many of those website operators they will want to believe that your site is going to offer value to their visitors. Many are looking for sites that are relevant to their niche and rich in the kind of content visitors to their sires are looking for. It can take a long time and a lot of effort to get good PR and to develop a good number of regular visitors. Consequently, while you do not mind spreading some of that reputation around to other sites, you will want to know that they are the ypes of sites your visitors will enjoy going to and you will want to be sure that you are not going to be hurt by the association. For my main site, which is always on the first page of search results for its market niche, I never look at the PR of someone requesting to exchange links. I look at their website. Then I decide.
