Mass rename in ftp?

    Is there a way to mass rename folders in a ftp program?

    No. Only client-side scripting or ftp-client smart enough to do this.

    Hi,

    You can try www.bossftp.com to mass rename a lots of folders.
    - Select all folders
    - Click rename
    - Enter new name with (x) in it.
    For example: select 'Tom', 'John', 'David', ... + friend(x) -> 'friend1', 'friend2', 'friend3'...

    You can also click search -> list all folders -> batch rename all folders (not recommended)
