I have a Facebook page for my website at http://www.facebook.com/pages/TheLoveQuiltcom/146087502100777. Is there a way I can send a message to all of my fans in regards to updates on the site? I have heard people saying that I can go into "edit page" and then to "send update", and I did that but nobody got anything that I put in the message.

ExtraRanch, as far a sI know, you can only message your group members if yuo created the group.
Your fans will only get your news stream, so input it into your news stream to get their attention.
    Hope this helps.

Dang, putting it in their newsfeed doesn't really do anything. Having the ability to send them a message would be amazing. Thanks for the help, though!

You CANNOT send messages. However in GROUPS you CAN send messages. That is one of the main differences between a FanPage and a Group in FB

I believe this feature is available on fan pages now as well...Try this:

    Login to Facebook
Click Ads and Pages on the side
Click "Marketing" on the left hand side
Find and click "Send an Update"

What's wrong with this approach? All your fans will see it in their news feed. If you constantly piss people off with PMs, they'll be more likely to unlike you anyway.
