I have been trying to build backlinks via autoposters and paid avenues for the last month and have acquired over 3K so far (according to some tools... i use SEOPro link checker). I am finding that I'm pretty much non-existent Google search for my keywords now... and I was finding some results for pages on my site a few weeks ago. Am I being penalized?? Is there a formal way of knowing this?? Also, the # of backlinks that Google is claiming I have hasn't changed in a month... still holding at 16 in Webmaster tools. How often to they check for these??
Just keep building backlinks. More than likely it is just google dancing. If you do not rank in 1 months time, after continuing your link building practices, contact google via webmaster tools.
Just keep building and building backlinks for your site... Google usually updated this information fairly quickly.. Have you tried Article Marketing or Press Releases? This is a great way to get quality backlinks to your site. Let me know, and I can help...
Perhaps Google spotted you doing to many obviously spammy autoposting links? Stop spamming, and build proper links.
It will surely work in sometime you don't let down things and keep on submitting backlinks yup you can check backlinks manually 1) open google search 2) type link:http://www.yoursite.com this will return the backlinks actually crawled by google.
You need high quality backlinks, you don't want tons of low quality links when very few high quality ones are worth alot more in the eyes of Google. Building too many links at once may be seen as spam especially being of low quality. I heard Google are or maybe have already changed their policy so if you build alot of backlinks quickly you will be penalised, heard maybe even doing 10 a day is a safe limit after the change. Don't quote me on that though as may just be a rumour
