Well on my forum I am holding a competition to win a DS lite. I thought it would be a good idea to e-mail those users who have only not been active since the 1st July 2008 (as all other users will know about the competition). The number of members who have not been active since this date is 15,736. Do you think sending them an e-mail giving them details and such about the competition, as well as telling them how to regenerate their password if they have forgotten (since there are members who haven't been online since 2007) would bring back a lot of the older members who may have forgotten about the site? Thanks
