Mass directory submit sites

Are any of the mass submit sites good? The ones that say they will submit your site to thousands of directories for free...

If so, which one(s) are good?

Mass submissions often mess up the process and may end up getting your URL banned from a countless number of directories. Why unecessarily burn bridges? The sites that charge you for submission often charge you to cover the time in manually submitting your site. I wouldn't risk it (the free ones, that is). Mind you, there may be some reputable ones out there, I just havn't come across them.

 

There are lot of free software available on net which will help you in mass submission but that will harm your site. The best way to submit your site is manually.

FWIW, I have been trying to convince my mother that mass submission is a waste of time but she just ignores me and goes on her own merry way. It works for her. Knowing zip about seo and not much more about recipricol linking etc., she got her last site up to a PR 5.

She´s starting a new one now and we´ll have the same argument. No doubt she´ll soon be rubbing my nose in her SERPS and I´ll be eating crow. Again.

It´s like faithfully doing the lottery every week then the one time you forget some old biddy comes along and scoops the jackpot with your numbers.
