    Hi

Wondering if any of you have tried these mass directory submission sites such as www.directoryvault com or similar ?

What kind of results have you got ?

My logical side is telling me they must be too good to be true but the pain of submitting multiple site to directories is becoming quite persuasive

Definately. You can also check out the services forum here to find folks that also do directory submission services.

Don't make directory submission the only part of your process. Also consider creating articles for submission to directories. You can use Isnare for that.

Tried it, but will only use with caution, now.

These days link building isn't about building volume - it's about building trust (at least, for Google), and those mass directory submissions are often to low quality directories that simply do not deliver any significant trust value.

It can form a part of a general link-building strategy, but don't use it as a sole method.
