Hi guys, I'm looking for some suggestions. I'm in the process of building a list and, while it's in a niche and rather targeted, I'd like to "cast a wider net" so to speak with the products I'll be promoting to the list. So, what suggestions do you guys have for "general" appeal products that most people would be interested in, whether or not it's related to the actual niche the list is in. I'll only really be using the ideas occasionally as I understand that it's best to promote products linked to the list's niche but I'd like to squeeze as much income as possible from it so I thought more general purpose items might work well for that. Also, it wont be a "direct" promotion to the list. It will more than likely be at the header or footer of the email. Sort of a "this message sponsored by: [affiliate link]" deal or an occasional "P.S. Check this out, blah, blah, blah" sort of thing. I don't want the subscribers to feel like they're being pitched to so the actual promotion will be low key. So far I've come up with this list: Web hosting services -- many people want a site and may happen to be in the market when they see the link in the email from the list. Antivirus/AdWare/Spyware removers -- if they're on a digital mailing list then they obviously have a computer so these products would apply to everyone on the list. Get Paid To [whatever] -- this would, probably, be an impulse click on the reader's part--they see a "make money" ad and click it out of curiousity, etc. Ringtones -- the list is mostly composed of younger people and ringtones are fairly popular with that demographic. Any other suggestions? Specific products would be great but just a general idea, such as those above, will work also. I'm sure there's more I could use but I'm drawing a blank. I'd also like to stay away from the more professional services such as insurance and so on. I'm looking more for the "fun" (ringtones), "necessary" (antivirus, etc.) or "that sounds cool" (get paid to) type of products to promote. Thanks in advance!
Doesn't work that way. sorry. Specific videos giving away specific goods so specific people get on specific lists. Managing lists nowadays is easy with aweber or getresponse. If I had to answer your quesion the way you wanted me to I would have to say use Twitter to give away something other than "Make $10 on Twitter Right Now for Free!" Something like "Sign up for my 10 day E-Course on how to drive legitimate traffic to any business, product or service." good?
