Mass 404 URL Checker Tool

    I'm trying to find a tool where I can check to see if a number of pages are still live or not. There are about 10,000 pages and I'm working with a large but very old site so trying to see if the pages the links are pointing to are even live! If they are not then I can set up some 301's for them.

    All the tools I've seen are all single or at most 500 URLs. Ideally I need something a little more heavy weight compared to those tools. Any suggestions welcome :)

    Why don't you use google webmaster?
    Add your website in google.com/webmaster
    after added your website into google webmaster check it few days later.
    In the crawl error section it will show you all not found URL.
    Simple.
